It is with deep sadness that Holme Farm announces the passing of Malcolm Cressy on 30 September 2024. Malcolm served as Chair and Trustee from 4 January 2021 and was an integral part of the Holme Farm community.
As the first Runnymede Councillor to recognise the potential of our vision, Malcolm responded to our earliest call for support and became a steadfast champion of the project. He played a pivotal role in securing backing from Runnymede Borough Council and, once permission to use Holme Farm was granted, accepted our invitation to lead the Board of Trustees. Much of his work was undertaken quietly and without seeking recognition, yet his influence was profound.
His knowledge of political processes and strategic planning helped lay the foundations on which Holme Farm continues to grow. We remain deeply grateful for his belief in our vision from the very beginning.
Malcolm’s wisdom, encouragement, compassion and sense of humour will be greatly missed. We are committed to honouring his legacy and upholding the values he championed.
