This Saturday, 16th July, is going to be a multi-media experience down at Holme Farm. Media producers, Ian and Paula Oakley from Whitestone Media, will be on site to meet the community, find out its views about the proposed Holme Farm project and create some video soundbites.
Alongside them (from its studio location, not on site), Runn Radio will be hosting a “Holme Farm special show” which will include hits from the recent Danceathon fundraiser and a suggested Holme Farm theme tune. Anyone is welcome to guess what it might be.
Defra gave the keys to Holme Farm three months ago, a lot has happened since then. The Mayor has made an official visit, the workshop is up and running, brambles have been cleared, paintwork has been rejuvenated, windows have been repaired, diverse types of wildlife including snakes have been spotted, visitors and volunteers have descended in their 100s and the community is fully engaged.
With the promise of continued warm weather, it is the perfect day to come and find out more about what’s going on as well as future plans.
