Fundraisers
We need volunteer fundraisers. This is an essential and important role to get the Holme Farm project started and to make our ideas a reality. It’s a great way for you to get involved and support an amazing community cause.
You don’t need existing skills in fundraising – together with our partners, Voluntary Support North Surrey, we’ll teach you all you need to know.
Help Us Realise Our Vision
We want to build a group of fundraising volunteers to work in our local communities and raise awareness of the Holme Farm Community Project both for fundraising and to realise the vision of:
- Bringing the local community together
- A focus on wildlife and biodiversity
- Providing a safe place for everyone to enjoy
- Providing the opportunities to enjoy:
- Community Gardening & Sensory Gardens
- Art, Crafts, Carpentry and much more
- Biodiversity & Wildlife: Learning and helping the creature that surround us
- Get involved in Beekeeping
- Forestry play and mud kitchens to get dirty
- And much more…
Grow For Wildlife
Worried about bees, butterflies and other creatures disappearing from your area? Want to learn more about animals that are key to our ecosystem?
We’ve got ideas to help our community buzzing with life again. Even the smallest changes can help to give nature a home, and people in towns and cities, as well as village communities, play a vital part in providing a haven for some of our much-loved wildlife.
Community Gardening
We want to provide a space to help green our local area, start a food growing project and conserve an area for wildlife. Research suggests community gardening can have a huge impact for both people and places.
From de-stressing you after a frantic day to giving you healthy physical exercise in the ‘green gym’ there is mounting evidence that gardens and gardening have an increasingly important role to play in our busy lives.
Whether you enjoy the quiet space of growing plants on your own or the companionship of community projects, gardening is beneficial for everyone.
